At a glance: your game progress is stored on your device. Google provides advertising and purchase services. If you email us, we use your message to help you. For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact kiteystar@gmail.com.
1. About this policy
Millionator is provided under the Kitey Star brand. The responsible operator and data controller ("we", "us") is identified in Operator and contact details at the end of this policy.
This policy covers the Millionator Android game, our related support communications and visits to this policy page. The Android app is identified as com.kiteystar.millionator.
It describes the current test release, version 0.44.3. Google also processes information for its own advertising, payment, account and security services under its privacy notices.
2. Information used by the game
Game progress and preferences
Millionator saves your progress, game settings, country win counts, character unlocks and purchase ownership information locally on your device. These records let you continue playing and retain earned or purchased features. The game does not require a separate Kitey Star account and has no Kitey Star cloud-save service. We do not receive your local save files unless you choose to send them to us for support.
The current Android build disables standard Android cloud backup. Some devices may still transfer app data when you migrate to another device, depending on Android and the manufacturer's transfer tools. Google Play's purchase history is separate from your local game save.
Advertising
The free game includes Google AdMob advertising. Google's advertising software handles your IP address (which can indicate approximate location), device and advertising identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information. These are used for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Collection depends on the service, device settings and available identifiers. The app does not request precise GPS location permission.
Current test release: version 0.44.3 uses Google's test ad units. Test ads still involve Google's advertising software and should not be treated as involving no data processing. This release has no in-game consent or privacy-options screen. This policy does not itself obtain consent.
You can manage or delete your advertising ID in Android's privacy or ads settings, where supported. Google also provides My Ad Center. These controls do not erase purchase records or all data held by Google. Read how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Purchases
Google Play processes the optional one-time Full Game purchase. Google handles payment credentials; the game does not ask for your card number. The game receives product, purchase-token, receipt and ownership information to grant, acknowledge and restore your purchase. Purchase and order information may also be available to us through Google Play's developer tools for support, refunds and record keeping.
The Full Game purchase removes in-game ads. Google Play still processes information needed for purchases, restoration and its own services.
Support emails
If you contact kiteystar@gmail.com, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message and any attachments. We use them to answer your request and investigate the issue. This mailbox uses Gmail, provided by Google. Sharing diagnostic details or a save file is optional. Please do not send passwords or complete payment-card details.
3. Why we process information
Where the GDPR applies, processing needed to deliver game features, purchases and associated support is based on performance of our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)). Our legitimate interests in answering general enquiries, resolving problems and protecting the service support necessary processing under Article 6(1)(f), subject to your rights. Legally required records use Article 6(1)(c).
Advertising processing and access to device information that require consent must be based on valid consent, including Article 6(1)(a) where applicable. The test-release limitation described above remains relevant; publication of this notice is not a consent mechanism.
Emailing support and making a purchase are optional. We need a reply address to respond to an email and purchase information to verify a purchase. Local saves are needed to retain progress between sessions.
5. How long information is kept
- Local game data: kept on your device until it is overwritten or you remove the app's data. To erase it, use Android Settings → Apps → Millionator → Storage → Clear storage/data; labels vary by device. This removes local progress and settings. Uninstalling normally also removes local app data.
- Support: routine support emails and attachments are kept for no more than 12 months after the issue is resolved, and deleted sooner when no longer needed or when a valid deletion request requires it.
- Necessary legal records: only information required for a specific legal obligation or an actual dispute is kept longer, for the duration of that requirement, and then deleted.
- Google's records: Google applies its own retention rules to advertising, billing and account records. See Google's retention information. Deleting the game or a support email does not erase those records or cancel your purchase.
There is no separate Millionator account to delete. You can still request deletion of personal information we hold by emailing us. A purchase may be restored from Google Play after local app data is removed; restoration does not recover your local gameplay progress.
6. Security
Local saves use the app's device storage. Google's advertising connections use encryption in transit, and this website uses HTTPS. Device access, your Google account and the security of email services also affect protection of your information. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your privacy rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email kiteystar@gmail.com; no particular subject line is required. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity.
We normally respond within one month under the GDPR. You may also complain to a data protection authority, including in your country of residence or work. The European Data Protection Board lists European authorities. For information controlled independently by Google, use Google's privacy controls or contact Google.
8. Younger players
Millionator is intended for teenagers and adults, rather than young children. Please follow the game's age rating and local age requirements. This statement is not a content-rating certificate. If you are a parent or guardian with concerns about a young player's information, contact us so we can review and address the request.
